concept / idea: Flexible attachment of data carriers

In cutting tool holders for many years data carriers have been glued into a bore (with internationally standardized diameter 10 mm).

This has been proven to be an excellent solution for industrial tool identification.

Following the trend of miniaturization new data carriers with smaller diameter become also popular.

Additionally every now and then, users wish to be flexible in mounting and dismounting data carriers

to identify objects.

Here idea / sketch how to implement a flexible installation of data carriers in tool holders (and other objects)

The RFID data carrier is inserted in a plastic housing.

The housing is screwed into the object which is to be identified with RFID

(and depending on the application secured with thread lock fluid)
